The horrors of WW2 are nearly indescribable. It’s a dumpster fire of soul-searing imagery and war crimes that keep me up at night. In my many trips down history lane, the rallying cry “Never again!” has erupted time and again. I’m sure the intention is pure and that our world will not allow another mass extinction event (the Holocaust).

But what if I’m wrong?

What if the plethora of hate groups in our country and around the world are making progress in today’s society? What does this mean for our children?

Horrors of WW2

The Horrors of WW2, Detailed In My Book

Look at the little boy in the image above, surrendering as if he was some sort of heinous criminal. As a father and a Jew, I just can’t imagine my children suffering through the Holocaust. It’s an unbearable thought.

According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (Holocaust Encyclopedia):

“Children were especially vulnerable to Nazi persecution. Some were targeted on supposed racial grounds, such as Jewish youngsters. Others were targeted for biological reasons, such as patients with physical or mental disabilities, or because of their alleged resistance or political activities. As many as 1.5 million Jewish children alone were murdered or died at the hands of Nazi officials or their collaborators.”

Join Me in My Quest to Stamp Out Hate

I wish the children of the Holocaust were completely free from the horrors of WW2 — the torment, terror, and death at the hands of the Nazis. I wish children today were free from online harassment, cyberbullying, and physical threats from racists and antisemites. It’s never acceptable when our young people are targeted.
